I've just had confirmation from Dave Farthing (my E-Commerce teacher) that my choice of organisations is OK. And he thinks I'm making good progress. Ha! He really hasn't seen my work, has he - come to think of it, neither have I - it doesn't exist yet! ;-) So, the three companies are: Intelligent Finance, Abbey National and Nationwide. Hopefully, I will have finished the report by the end of the weekend...Well, we can live in hope!

Well, I know this post is going up a day later than the date, but I didn't have web access yesterday..
This morning, my Amazon order finally arrived, with free first class delivery because it was so late :-)
Also this morning, my information pack for the Welsh Ambulance Service First Responder scheme arrived. Its a scheme where I'd get first aid training, and training on how to use a defibrillator (sp?). Then, I'd be called out to emergencys (along with the ambulance), and because I'd only respond to calls in my locality (Brynna, Llanharan, Llanharry and Pencoed), I'd get there before the ambulance, and would be able to give emergency first aid until the ambulance gets there. It looks like a good idea, but there's a few questions I want to ask the blokey first before I sign my life away (there's about half-a-dozen forms for me to sign!).
Right then, on with the work - E-Commerce: Systems and Strategy tonight.. Analysis of three E-Commerce companies (I've chosen online banks) to do. Not in for another couple of weeks, but I want to get it done sooner rather than later, as there's a few other courseworks to finish as well...Oh, the life of a student..

Well, I've finished my first day of developing the web site - well, let me rephrase that - I've finished uploading for today, although I will be working on the site when I get home, changes will not be visible to you til tomorrow evening.

Well, just had my meeting with my Supervisor (1st and 2nd). For those of you that don't know, this project that I'm doing has 3 supervisors - the first Supervisor I see on a weekly basis, the second supervisor I hand in copies of milestones to, and the third Supervisor I only ever see once, at my final presentation.
So, in this meeting with Phil (first Supervisor) and Gaylor (second Supervisor), We agreed objectives and deliverables for the project. They are:
So, I'm now going to have to get stuck into developing a little program that can access my phone (via Bluetooth, and a virtual serial port). I cant wait...

Well, I've finally done it! ryanperry.co.uk is finally off the ground..Alright, so a fair bit isn't working yet. And there's not much in the menu..
But, I've finally started, and that's the main thing. I can just keep going now, and do a bit at a time..Also, this blog might help me with my Level 3 Project Research - if I keep a record of what I've done, I wont go looking for that again! Maybe..
