24Chat - Final Episode (24)
The helicopter continues to make fast progress towards St Marks Church, Ryan, Zev and Vicky arrange their plan.
"Zev, I want you to enter from the east door, Vicky, you enter from the main doors, I'll enter from the north doors, Liam-" Liam, who has been looking out of the window looks at Ryan, “ - we need you outside as back up, I don't want Dixie seeing you, you can be our surprise."
Liam smiles. "Fine by me"
Littleb and Elisha continue to drive towards the church.
"What are you gonna say to Ryan?"
"It's a private matter im afraid." Elisha replies
"OK no biggy, you know I had a dream about Ryan once, we...well you know, hehe"
"Really? Is he a hit with the ladies?" Elisha asks
"Well he got you – of course he is."
Elisha smiles, Littleb decides to concentrate on her driving.
Dixie sits finishing her make up, Snowy walks in. "The helicopter will be late so Liam and the Vicar won’t be here til half past." She tells her boss
"That's fine, I can wait 24 more minutes to get married to the man of my dreams." Dixie tells her
Snowy smiles. "Congratulations president Dixie Sutherland."
Dixie grins.
Ryan talks to Becky on the phone.
"Techno techno has prepared his phone so you can listen to what's happening at the church."
"Good work Ryan, oh Ryan there's something I need to tell you."
"What's that?"
"You're gonna be a moderator."
Ryan sits back in shock, unable to contain his delight, he begins to cry.
"Ryan, are you ok?"
"Yes I’m fine, I’m sorry, it's just been a really really long day."
"Just get back OK so you can do a great job for 24chat."
Becky, Craig, 24...24 and DB gather around the phone as they prepare to hear what happens at the wedding.
The helicopter lands outside the church, Will runs to escort the vicar inside, as he nears the helicopter Ryan steps out and punches Will. Will is knocked to the ground; Ryan pulls the vicar out of the helicopter. "Go inside, tell them that this guy is looking to the helicopter, don't let anyone know we're here, procede with the ceremony."
The Vicar nods and enters the church.
Kiefer is standing at the aisle in his suit being held by Mick. The Vicar enters and walks towards the front of the hall. Snowy greets him. "Vicar welcome, are you alone?"
"Yes, the gentleman you sent out is seeing to the helicopter."
"Excellent."
The 24 theme music starts to play and Dixie appears in her wedding dress being walked down the aisle by her dad, she smiles at Snowy, the only guest. As she reaches the front of the room she looks around for Will and Liam but assumes they are doing jobs elsewhere.
"Dearly beloved..." the Vicar starts
Ryan looks through the window, as does Zev and Vicky, Kiefer spots Zev and mouths the words "help me" to her, she nods at him.
"Do you, Dixie Dean, take Kiefer Sutherland as your lawfully wedded husband?" the Vicar continues
"I..." Dixie starts
Ryan opens the door. "Not so fast."
"Do, haha not fast enough Ryan, we're now married." Dixie finishes
"Actually Mr Sutherland hasn't said his part yet." The Vicar points out
"Aw crap"
Dixie grabs Kiefer and runs to the top of the room. "Nobody come any closer, because, I have a bomb."
Zev and Vicky burst into the room.
"Now, this marriage is going to be completed whether you like it or not, so I suggest you get on with it Mr Vicar."
"Don't do it." Ryan shouts
"Do it!" Dixie shouts in reply
"Don't" Ryan shouts in reply
"That does it, this is beyond a joke, and I’ll press this button if you don't let me marry Kiefer NOW!"
"I can't let this marriage happen." Ryan tells her
Dixie presses the button. There's silence everywhere, Ryan looks to Zev, Zev looks to Vicky, Vicky looks to the Vicar, the Vicar looks to Kiefer and Kiefer looks to Dixie.
"I don't get this, Will assured me it would work, he made it himself." She says
"That would explain it, come on Dixie, it's over, hand over 24chat and we'll never hear of this again." Ryan tells her
A car pulls up outside the church, Elisha runs into the church followed by Littleb. "Ryan!" Elisha shouts
"Elisha!" Ryan shouts
"Stupid piece of crap." Dixie says, and throws the remote control over her shoulder, it hits one of the alight candles, it knocks it over setting fire to a nearby curtain, the flames continue to spread.
Back at the house, Becky, 24...24, Craig and DB continue to listen.
"What's going on?" Becky asks
"The church is catching fire, we need to get out now" Ryan tells her
The phone line goes dead, all 4 of them look at each other with fear in their eyes.
Back at the church, a large object has fallen to block the front entrance. Ryan calls everyone to the back of the room. "There's a gap here, we can crawl through one at a time, it could take a while, but it's the only way out."
Zev pushes Vicky forwards and she crawls through to safety, outside Vicky looks around and doesn't see Liam, this worries her.
Liam runs across the nearby fields hoping to reach a train station soon, suddenly he is rugby tackled by someone to the ground. Liam sees the mysterious staranger is wearing a balaclaver. "You've done a very cowardly thing today Liam." The stranger tells him
"You don't know me, what do you know about what I've done?" Liam asks
"I know more then you think, betraying your friends, tsk tsk"
"Who are you?"
The stranger pulls off his balaclava.
"I know you!" Liam says
"And I know you" the stranger replies
Back at the church Vicky, the Vicar, Zev, Dixie, Mick, Littleb and Kiefer have made it outside, Ryan and Elisha remain inside, the blaze now even more uncontrolable. Ryan pushes Elisha forwards to crawl through but she holds back.
"Ryan, 6 hours ago I asked you a question, will you marry me, I need to know Ryan." She asks him
Dixie spots everyone waiting for Ryan and Elisha, and runs off into a nearby wooded area.
"Come on Ryan, Elisha." Zev shouts
"I knew what answer I was going to give you from the moment you asked me." Ryan tells Elisha
"Yes?"
"Elisha...." Ryan starts
The roof of the church collapses, the 6 outside jump back to avoid the crash, Littleb gets up first, and runs to the still burning church.
"Ryan? Elisha?" she shouts
A hand appears from the wreckage, Littleb grabs it and pulls.
