My Boss' Daughter

Review by Ryan

Certificate: 15

Starring: Ashton Kutcher, Tara Reid, Jeffrey Tambor

Genre: Comedy. Tries to be a rom-com, but no-where near.

Plot: A junior executive in a company accepts an invitation to his boss' house, thinking it's for a date with his boss' daughter. When he gets there, however, it turns out he's there to house-sit. And, of course, any thing that could go wrong does

Favourite Bit: Tara Reid's strip routine, as she thinks Kutcher's character is gay. Oh, and all the scenes with Carmen Electra in - she steals them all.

Least Favourite Bit: They over use some jokes, and can be quite long winded, meaning you see the punchline coming a mile off

Anything of note? Kenan, from American kids show Kenan and Kel, plays Reid's unlikely love interest

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Comment: It's a film from the same old mould, where boy likes girl, thinks he's got a date with her, but actually hasn't, and ends up getting her. I found myself wondering how long the film was half-way through

Extras

Not a lot in the way of extras. An audition video of Tara Reid, Outtakes, a little thing telling how they inserted an extra scene when the studio said no (the rebels!) and a behind the scenes featurette

Rating of Extras: 2 out of 5
