11 o'clock...

That's a little stalker in-joke...

So, on the 9th August (the day after my 21st), I accepted Tom's invitation to learn from the stalking-master himself, and visit the Doctor Who set in The Hayes, Cardiff.

Arrived at Tom's around 7ish (he had walked back from the Hayes to meet me at his house), and we drove down to The Hayes, and park on double-yellows, which Tom assured me was fine...

Wandered over towards the set, and met up with some people Tom knew. When I said I was going to be thinking about leaving around 11ish, they gave me a knowing look and smirked.

We hung around until 10ish, when they started filming. Already my 11 o'clock deadline was starting to look shaky. So we were watching them film, although we couldn't see much, owing to the big market stalls in the way.

11 o'clock came...and went. I said to Tom "I'm deferring the decision til 12", and his mates laughed. Little did I know that I had started down the slippery stalking slope...They, of course, did know, Tom having been up til 3 the previous night watching them film, and turning in then (they finished filming at 6am Tuesday morning).

12 o'clock came...and went. This time I deferred the decision til half-past. Further and further down the slippery slope... Between 12 and half-past, I got Noel Clarke's (who plays Rose's boyfriend Micky in Doctor Who) autograph (see below). He seemed pleasant enough, but was rushing to film a scene when we called him over, so couldn't stay for the chat that Tom was hoping for.

It took until 2am to get Billie's autograph and a photo with her. By which time I was knackered. I left shortly after getting both of them. Tom stayed until gone 4am, and had some pictures taken on set.

So, the photos. So far, these are just my photos. Tom's will be added later. And if you don't want even the slightest hint of what's going to happen in the Xmas 2005 special, don't look at the photos. Simple as.
