Right then, I know I haven't blogged for a while. Theres a mighty fine explanation for that...Which I can't think of right now...
Took an online quiz earlier, heres the results:

| Labour -35 | |
| Conservative -1 | |
UKIP's primary focus is on Europe, where the party is strongly against joining both the EU constitution and the Euro. UKIP is also firmly in favour of limiting immigration. The party does not take a clear line on some other policy issues, but supports scrapping university tuition fees; it is strongly against income tax rises and favour reducing fuel duty.

So, theres been a bit happening in my life lately. Okay, so I'm lying, I haven't really got a life at the moment, theres too much to do with uni etc. I'll update you next week, after all this bloody coursework has finally been handed in...
I finish uni once and for all on May 24th, by the way: day before Laura's birthday...

Well, last week of term...And it's not even going to be a full week - I'm in uni today and tomorrow, then I'm off until the 11th! You know what that means - fewer blog updates...
Well, bit of a busy week last week. E-Commerce coursework coursework was in on Monday, and I had another Open Day to work on the Wednesday - that wasn't too bad actually, despite being shoved down into the car park for the morning, then the security guard asking one of us to stand up the top and direct open day traffic into the car park...Muggins here got that task, since there was only me and the girl who had the radio (hence in charge) down there...But still, I gave up after a bit, and we (that is Charlotte and I) had a laugh - she was constantly trying to ring a friend who woke her up the previous night, to try and wake him up...You know what they say about a woman scorned...
Then, Thursday evening, went over a friend's houes to take a look at her computer, there was a few jobs needed doing on it. She asked me not to name her, so we'll call her "K" for now.
First thing I did was to install a virus checker and up-to-date virus pattern file. Ran a scan, detected 27 trojan horses. As Mr Shaddick commented, that's quite a collection. So AVG managed to clean 25 out of the 27, and we restarted. She asked me to install broadband, except we were having all sorts of trouble installing Tesco broadband. Asked her if she had any other discs, she pulls out a collection of would-be cup-placemats (around a dozen ISP discs), and asks if they were any good...We chose tiscali, and installed it fine. Then I noticed that she had Norton running, so I checked to see when it was last updated. Back in November of last year. And therein we find the problem. She was wondering why it wasn't detecting the viruses, and the virus pattern file was that out of date! So we updated it, and that found another 30 adwares.
And all that took 4 hours...
Anyways, when the modem etc comes through, looks like I'll be popping back down there to set it up.
Another part of the reason I went down there was because I hadn't seen her for 18 months, so we had a bit of a catch up.
So, best get back to work here, plenty to do today!
See Kirsty, I told you I wouldn't name you! Doh!
Oh yeah, before I forget, a little while back, I mentioned about my cousin Heather getting Asda into a bit of trouble with a cetain hotel-heiress' home video. Well, I've finally remembered to get the scan of the newspaper, and it's here: Fury at porn film in DVD player gift. Enjoy

Thanks to Tom for this pic...Only a matter of time, mr Shaddick...this pic, and exhibit 1 in Jacko's trial.
Well, am in un this week for longer than usual - am in Wednesday for another open day. I think I told you about this before...
E-Commerce was finished in good time yesterday - and only nine words over the guide! 3,009 words in the end, and considering I wasn't aiming for the guide, I think thats pretty damn good!
Right, better get back to winding up Jess...

Well, I had my meeting with Phil earlier, he gave me some feedback on my Design Report - not all bad, which again wasn't what I was expecting...
Then, I trekked (about 3 metres) to the SoC office, and picked up my Computers and the Law assignment - 59%! Again, not what I was expecting...I said to Craig earlier, it's shaping up to be a good day...
Right, brought across the Beach Party pics from the geocities site, in the menu on the left under pictures (strangely...) Also, Craig sent me this picture, which I thought was quite funny!
Also, in the pictures menu, you will see a mention for Gavin - I am currently working on his pictures (aka doctoring the evidence), and should have them up by this time next week. But, deadlines are made to be broken, and so don't bet on that date being final...

Morning all!
I must say, I am making good progress with my Final year project program - was putting it together over the weekend, and encountered relatively few problems - until I got to the bluetooth bit...
The code that I done for my prototype worked on one message only. Now, I need to grab all new messages (working on the estimate of 50), and convert them. Bugger. Need to put a nice little while loop in there somewhere...Just where, is the question..
Went down to Homebase on Saturday, got myself a new shelf, since I am out of room now my DVD collection is getting quite large...This shelf should be good for about another 50 DVDs - so about a month then ;-)
E-Commerce coursework in next Monday, then another Open Day Wednesday - but I have to be in the GBC at 8:30am - meaning I will have to leave the house by 7:45am, so that I can get here and get a space in time!
Oh yeah, I got 50% in my Advanced Internet Development coursework 1 - not quite sure how that happened...Was expecting a LOT less than that! The second one is out now, and that looks like an enjoyable one - create an enrolement website for the Uni - easy, I hear you say. Well, I haven't finished giving you the title yet! Create an enrolement website for the university that can be accessed from a mobile phone or PDA...Yup, its that old favourite, Web Matrix and ASP.NET!
Despite what people say about it, I haven't had that many problems with Web Matrix. Its been fairly good to me. Can't say the same for ASP.NET...
So that means I will have a VB6 program being created, and an .NET program being created at the same time. I see trouble ahead...
Oh, btw, FHM is at Creation nightclub in Cardiff on Saturday coming. Girls on the Sofa will be from there! Might make the effort and go down...
